Launch-day checklist

Every flip needed to take Bul from pre-launch to fully live, in order. Each step says exactly what to do, which file the value goes into, and when it happens. Green means it's already set.

Run the deploy

The deploy spends real SOL and has to be signed by the keypair on your own computer, so it can't be triggered from a web page — a button here would mean handing this website the keys to your wallet. Copy the one command below, paste it in the project folder on your machine, and the guided script does the rest: checks, export, price prompt, then validate → upload → deploy → verify.

It never asks for, prints, or uploads your private key. You confirm the price and type YES before any SOL is spent.

  1. 1. X account is live

    Done

    Post the launch-day announcement from @itsbulseason before anything else. The CA and every link are announced on X first — nowhere else.

  2. 2. Dedicated RPC endpoint (Helius)

    Done

    Done. The herd tracker and King of the Herd both read Solana through your Helius key, which is stored securely and never sent to the browser. Nothing to paste.

  3. 3. Mint wallet is already set

    Done

    The creator wallet is hard-coded in src/lib/bul-collection.ts. You do not set it during deploy — you only confirm that your Solana CLI keypair matches it.

  4. 4. Choose the mint price

    Not set

    When you run bun run scripts/deploy-collection.ts, it asks for the mint price in SOL. That price becomes the on-chain Candy Guard price and the UI label. Pick it now.

  5. 5. Deploy the Bul Herd Candy Machine

    Not set

    Run the guided deploy helper. It checks your tools and wallet, exports the 100 NFTs, and walks you through validate → upload → deploy → verify. Command: bun run scripts/deploy-collection.ts

  6. 6. Paste the Candy Machine ID + collection mint

    Not set

    The deploy script prints two long addresses. Paste them into the config. This is the switch that turns /mint live and makes /herd show real on-chain progress.

  7. 7. Dry-run the mint page

    Not set

    With the Candy Machine ID pasted, open /mint and /herd while the mint is still closed. Make sure the wallet connection, price, and tracker look right before you announce anything.

  8. 8. Launch $BUL on pump.fun

    Not set

    Create the coin on pump.fun. When it's live you get the real contract address.

    One paste lights up the whole site: the copy-CA buttons on /token and /mint, the buy buttons, and the press kit. Then announce the CA on X immediately.

  10. 10. Open the mint

    Not set

    Announce the mint on X. /mint and /herd are already wired — nothing else to change. The Candy Guard start date was set at deploy, so the mint opens automatically or when you announce it.

  11. 11. Paste the DexScreener pair

    Once the pair page exists, paste its URL so the chart links point at the real pair.

  12. 12. Magic Eden + reveal

    Not set

    Apply for the Magic Eden listing once the collection is minting out or has real secondary trading. Paste the collection URL. When you're ready to reveal, flip the reveal flag in the collection config and the gallery shows the real art.
